Dr. Jenny took the reins of Doggon' Wheels in January 2021, stepping in to keep the business open after she heard it would be closing. Doggon' Wheels was almost always Dr. Jenny's preferred company to use for her patients, so it was a natural fit to step in as owner, consultant, seamstress, and therapist, of course. Together with her husband, Ron, she has continued Doggon's legacy to offer quality mobility solutions for pets of all sizes.
Dr. Jenny is a licensed human physical therapist of 20 years and earned her certification in canine rehabilitation 13 years ago from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. In 2009, Dr. Jenny left pediatrics to work in a busy specialty veterinary practice in the San Francisco Bay Area (SAGE Veterinary Centers), where she built up the rehab practice to two locations. She moved on to open a practice (Pawesome PT) in the South Lake Tahoe region in 2018 in Stateline, NV where she and Ron stayed until the pandemic led them back to San Francisco in 2020. Dr. Jenny now focuses on a mobile manual therapy practice and Doggon' Wheels back in the San Francisco area. Dr. Jenny is excited to pair her love for assistive devices, senior pets, and creative solutions with the business. She has a passion for educating the veterinary world and the public about the benefits of early use of wheels for a wide variety of patients, and undoing the belief that wheels are "the end of the road/last resort". She is well-known among her colleagues for her creative treatment approaches and solutions, or MacGyvering things to tailor ideas to individual cases.
When Dr. Jenny isn't seeing clients or working on the business, she and Ron train for triathlons, up to Ironman distances. Most of her free time is occupied by the furry family they share together, often at the beach. Miko (11 y.o. Australian Cattle Dog/Hound mix), Umi (5 y.o. Australian Cattle Dog), and Bondi (6 month-old Australian Cattle Dog) make up the canine crew, while Arwen and Galadriel/Gigi (8 y.o. orange tabbies), Karl the Fog (6 y.o. Russian Blue-type DSH), and Sweety (5 y.o. DSH) make up the feline crew.
You'll speak to Dr. Jenny if you give us a call or email, so feel free to ask her whatever questions you may have! We also love to see pictures and video of your pets in their wheels, there is no such thing as too many, so go ahead and send your favorites! Our pets are our family, and mean the world to us. We will treat your pets with the same love and attention as our own, even if we don't get to meet them in person.

Dr. Jenny's heart and soul dog. There are not enough words to express how special Murray is and was, not only to Dr. Jenny, but to so many. Always in our hearts, and never forgotten.
Ron's sweet kitty, who left us right after Murray in 2021. Sweet and a little sassy, with an awful lot to say all the time!
Dr. Jenny's dear kitties, together again. Thank you for all you taught us, and to Arwen and Gigi.
